That simplicity is both the appeal and the limit. For a single personal site, a blog, or a small side project, it removes the friction of creating an account on a monitoring platform just to get a down alert — you add the URL and you are covered. It does not offer SSL or domain-expiry checks, multi-region checks, or status pages, so anyone monitoring production infrastructure for a business is better served by a dedicated service with team alerting and an SLA.
