circleci_bot does one job: take the pass/fail result of a CircleCI build and post it into a Telegram chat, cutting out the need to keep a CircleCI tab open or wait for an email digest. For a team running CI on every push, having failures show up immediately next to the rest of the team's chat means someone notices and starts fixing it sooner.

It fits the same niche as circleci_bot's counterparts for Jenkins and GitHub Actions elsewhere in this list: a thin, focused bridge rather than a full CI dashboard replacement. You still review logs and artifacts on circleci.com; the bot's job is only to make sure a red build does not go unnoticed until the next time someone happens to check the site.

As an independently run integration rather than an official CircleCI product, treat the usual caveats that apply to small utility bots: fine for a side project or small team's CI feed, and worth pairing with CircleCI's own status page for anything mission-critical.
