Akinator

Akinator brings the well-known web guessing game into a Telegram chat. Think of a person — real, fictional, from a book, film, game or history — and answer the bot's questions one at a time (yes, no, probably, don't know); after a series of increasingly specific guesses, it names who it thinks you picked. The underlying database is the same one that powers the original Akinator website and its mobile apps, so accuracy for well-known characters is generally strong.

It is a pure party trick rather than a utility: there is no scoring, no group leaderboard and nothing to configure beyond answering honestly. That simplicity is the appeal — it works the same whether you are killing five minutes solo or passing the phone around a group chat to see how fast the bot nails an obscure character.

Because it draws on the official Akinator knowledge base, it holds up better than most homemade "guess who" bots, but do not expect it to know very obscure or extremely recent characters — like the web version, its database has gaps, and the bot occasionally gives up or guesses wrong on the first try.
